Can't get through to Expedia. Maybe popup blocker. HELP?

I've turned off my popup blocker and still I can't access things like Expedia, Travelocity, AAA, Shermans Travel. Every time I try to access these I hear a dumb sound and the page does not open. I'm left with the original page, unchanged. Anyone know how to disable this or get around it?

Try holding ctrl when you click the link (you can try holding shift too). If this works, you still have a pop-up blocker running. There is one built into Windows XP if you're running SP2, and then if you have any toolbars installed you probably have another. Another thing you could try is right clicking the link you want to get to and select "Open in New Window"

Just glad I could help :) http://answers.yahoo.com/question/accuse_write?qid=1006051730632&kid=NbUvWzu4VjOHmw_e3yTj&s=comm&date=2006-05-19+10%3A55%3A29&.crumb=

That is a sign of the Gods. They really like you. You should have been great guy in other lives. The divinities are helping you: going to EXPEDIA or the other travel agencies might ruin your trips. read this: http://www.victimsofexpedia.com

or simply search for "EXPEDIA complaints" in Google

If you're using IE, there is a built in blocker you need to disable there also.

Use firefox.

There might be multiple problems. (1) your popup blocker did not disable itself. You might consider allowing those sites to display popups or remove the popup blocker. (2) you might have spyware. try downloading Windows Defender from microsoft.com; it's free. and scan your computer. (3) download firefox (getfirefox.com) and see if those sites load. if yes, there might be a problem with internet explorer (if you use it).

Let me know if this helps.
