AAA or Travel Agency? Which will save me more money?

What benefits would I get if I booked a vacation with AAA versus a travel agency? Can anyone please tell me which way you think is better and which would save me more money on say, a cruise of the Mediterranean in May 2010? Thanks!!!

I don't know that either would save you more money over the other, but personally I would use AAA because they are a company that I trust with many things and I got a recommendation to a AAA Travel Agent that I now use.

I value that service and since I am a AAA Member it is included in my annual dues so I want to take advantage of the service.

I think the answer for this is: depends, whatever you choose depends only for the company you are choosing, you know, there is thousands of those and you never know how is cheaper or safer, I guess the wise option is always to search for a good one in web or searching with friends or blogs like that.

But in my opinion i trust in some agencies that i collect in my trips around the world, the most recently trip was to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

And girl, i recommend that city totaly... what a fun place, you should see those beaches and beauties and nice people that lives there.

So about your question, when i was there i travel by a webagency(http://www.riodejaneiro-hotels.travel/) and they have better prices for everything, even if you contact directly the hotel, i guess this ones have some kind of contract so is always good to search before taking the first option.

I book all my vacations with AAA. Definitely book with them they are a very reputable company and usually have the best rates.
