If you booked through AAA then they are responsible for your reservation and your intent to cancel should go back to the cruise line through them. My advice is call your agent/contact at AAA and then the same day follow up with a letter to AAA and send a "cc" to Royal Caribbean at:
Corporate Guest Relations
1050 Caribbean Way
Miami, FL 33132
You should also go online to the Royal Caribbean site and click on "Customer Support" and then click on the "Contact Us" tab. Then click on the "EMAIL US" hot link and provide RC an immediate notify that you want to cancel your cruise.
Although this may seem redundant it provides you a good paper trail of your intent to cancel the cruise. You are aware I assume that there are rules related to cancellations that will determine how much of your money will be refunded. If you are 70 days or more before you cruise you should get a full refund; otherwise there will be penalties.
If you booked thru this online travel agencies then you have to write a letter to RC, but if you booked thru a local travel agency then they will cancel the booking for you...im sure with cancellation charges depending on the closeness of your departure.
You must cancel back through your travel agent.
Should not be a big deal.
