Best way to carry money in chile?

Im going to be going on a documentary exchange trip at the end of December until middle of January in Chile and I was wondering what would be the best way to carry spending money - cash, AAA Travel Money card, or travelers cheques. If its cash then how much how often do u suggest

AAA travel money card. If you have travelers checks or cash, most places require you to exchange your money. You are charged to exchange your money; however, if you use the AAA travel Money card you aren't charged. When you get to the airport use an ATM machine to take out some cash (AAA money cards can be used as debit cards), because they don't accept credit cards everywhere.

carry in in ur breast if u have them or just take a card wit u n cancel it if it gets stolen
